This is an Easy No -Bake Recipe for that last minute to show case your culinary skills even though you are doing a tight rope walk.

Somethings to remember though even if it is at the last minute: 1. Keep all the ingredients which are required for the dish properly measured and at hand. 2. At the last minute do not switch to a new brand or company which you have never ever tried before. ( I have used Nestle ‘s Condensed milk -Milkmaid) 3. Use freshly grated coconut (frozen tends to have moisture in it,it will take more time to cook and might affect the taste.) If you are pressed for last minute use dry desiccated coconut, toast it minimum 4 to 5 minutes before adding to the Condensed milk.

Diwali is a season of festivities and sweets But not all of us are made to be accomplished cooks most of us have deadlines and tight schedules, it’s become normal to place order for sweets and snacks outside
Even the whole program is given in the hands of able program arrangers and event managers to look after the buying setting and arranging of things, while we create space for us to sit back, relax and enjoy some quality time bonding with our Guests or using the occasion to tying down deals for the future venture. Even then our Guests do wish to taste what the Hostess has made😅
So though the thought of you being in the kitchen does look daunting, you shouldn’t worry about killing yourself by making exhausting recipes 😉 Here I am to help you with Easy-to-make,No-Bake Just 3 Ingredient Recipe in no time. AND with the Base recipe you can make many more variations of your choice

  • Condensed milk : 1 cup ( Around 390 g)

  • Ghee or Butter : 1/4th cup.

  • Cardamom powder : 1/4th TSP ( teaspoon)

  • Saffron -threads ,dry fruit powder : Optional. (For Garnishing)

Directions

  • In a large pan, add ghee or butter and melt it on medium once done reduce the heat.
  • Add the grated or desiccated coconut fresh or dry to the pan and saute it till golden brown (toast it around 5 to 7 minutes)
  • Add the condensed milk to the pan, keep stirring it,till it acquires the desired thickness and consistency.
  • Reduce the flame and let it cook for 10 minutes, add cardamom powder, dry fruits and mix well.
  • Let it cool, add ghee or oil to your palms and shape the laddu in your desired size, Refrigerate it to make it to hold shape.
  • You can store it easily for 3 to 4 days if you keep it in airtight container. Before serving refrigerate it,Garnish it with Safron or Almond .

Notes

  • If possible use freshly grated coconut for enhanced flavor
  • You can also use coconut cream instead of condensed milk to bring variations and a more creamier, coconuty flavor 😋
  • Don’t forget to add a pinch of salt to Balance the flavor
  • This is a Meta Suggestion to add Cranberries to the original Recipe to give it that English taste(though I haven’t tried it)🙏
  • Avoid over – heating the milk or it will give a burnt taste to the laddu.
  • If you want to add color, you can add food color of your choice.( Stick to natural food colors)
