I Took to writing this blog as a hobby, when in pandemic I rediscovered my love for cooking, THIS BLOG is a simple effort to share things I learned from my experience, From my family and friends. Many of the recipes I will share here have their origins in the dishes cooked by my mum and grandma, but the ❤ love for cooking and experimenting came from my Dad. He taught me not to shy away about trying out new things it’s this passion of his which has got passed down to me.Today When I am experimenting, trying new recipes I am not afraid of Failing
After my marriage my mother in law became my inspiration, I learnt a ton from her. Basic food principles, Presentation skills, small small nuances can only be learnt if you have a good teacher. My mother in law was not just good but a very good teacher. Her love for food and life was what made our house an open house, Where everyone was welcomed and never let go without having food. These are the places you learn your basic fundamentals,Your Food etiquette.
I have been cooking since my 9th grade, most of it was experimental, a learning curve in my life, through these experiments I discovered my passion for food, I enjoyed cooking but more than that I enjoyed seeing the smiles on the faces of the people I cooked for.
And then life happened, and something called cooking took a back seat in the race for excellence. It took a long while for me to resume what I now call my desire to pursue my long lost passion. I never stopped cooking but never considered giving it a priority. Today not only do I cook but have achieved a fair amount of excellence. which has influenced me to take the next step. I always believe in the adage “One step at a time “
This blog in a way is my next step,my diary to chronicle the recipes I learnt. To help others discover their long lost passion to cook,to experiment. To inspire my audience to love Indian cuisine among others, to help the beginners in their culinary journey,to succeed together and make this world flavourful.
Today I am a mum myself, a career woman and a daughter in law who lives in a joint family. With all these responsibilities trying to begin a new journey of blogging
I hope my journey will inspire others like me to chronicle their experiences and together it will be a win win situation for all.
