This is an old style classic desert which can never go wrong, easy to make and good to satisfy those Christmassy chocolate cravings.
You can even give it a twist by mixing all the ingredients in one bowl and making it a one bowl-desert.( Just remember to mix the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. )

Ingredients:
Margarine: 60 gm (grams)
Egg : 1
Baking powder : 3 TSP (tea spoon)
Cocoa : 3 TBSP (tablespoon)
Vanilla essence : 1/2 TSP
Sugar : 3/4 th cup.
Flour : 1 cup.
Salt : To taste.
Milk : 1/2 cup or as necessary.
Preparation:
STEP 1:
To prepare the chocolate sauce,add 3/4 th cup sugar and 1 TBSP cocoa in a bowl to 1 cup of boiling water (if you need more sauce, increase the quantity using the same proportions.)
STEP 2:
- Add sugar and margarine to the beater,whisk well to form cream.
- To the same cream add the egg and beat well.
- Add dry ingredients simultaneously with the milk.
- Add vanilla extract to this batter mix.
- Place the above mix in a greased dish( For baking purposes use a dish or a flat bowl having higher sides to give a concrete structure to the pudding)
- Now add the sauce mix over the pudding batter.
- Bake at 180 degrees in oven for 35 minutes or till done OR can use the same mix and bake in the microwave on high for 7 to 10 minutes ( Remember to cover and cook or the top might burn.)
YOU CAN REFRIGERATE THE PUDDING FOR 3 TO 4 DAYS,KEEP IT COVERED TO AVOID MAKING IT DRY,HEAT FOR 50 SECONDS BEFORE EATING AGAIN .
