IN THIS SERIES OF EASY BREAK-FAST RECIPES WHICH WE HAVE STARTED, I WILL BE SHARING A NEW QUICK RECIPE WHICH EVEN A BEGINNER CAN COOK.
RECIPE 2 : SAVORY PAN CAKE.
This is my version of Easy-to – make Pan Cake as I usually make this for my daughter’s lunch box,who leaves early As I am well pressed for time, this recipe is my go to.Doesn’t take a lot of time to cook, yet is simple and nourishing.

PREP TIME : 5 TO 10 MINUTES.
COOK TIME : 5 MINUTES.
TOTAL TIME : 12 to 15 MINUTES

( Measurements are for 1 person, you can increase the quantity accordingly)
INGREDIENTS :
- All purpose baking flour : 1/2TBSP (tablespoon)
- Rice flour : 1TBSP
- Curd or yogurt : 1TSP (teaspoon)
- Egg : 1 large or 2 small
- Milk : 1TSP.
- Butter or Ghee : 1TSP
- Coriander: 1TSP (teaspoon) finely chopped
- Tomato : 1TSP finely chopped.
- Onion : 1TBSP finely chopped
- Chilli flakes : 1/4 th teaspoon. OR Green chilies finely chopped.
- Carrot : 1 TSP finely grated
- Cabbage : 1TSP finely chopped or grated ( You can add as many veggies of your choice. )
- Black pepper powder : Pinch
- Salt : To taste.
PREPARATION :
1. Heat the pan well, Add the butter or ghee (Can be replaced with any healthy oil of your choice), when the butter melts,grease the pan well,simmer the flame.
2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients well, after combining the mix properly. Give it a quick stir.
3. Spread the mix evenly on the pan with the help of spatula, when oneside is done, flip it and with the help of spatula, cook it evenly pressing ever so gently,till both the sides are Golden brown in color.
4. When it’s nearly done grate Cheese or Tofu on it garnish with coriander or any Herb of your choice.
You can eat it with any sauce or chutney of your choice.
